The purpose of this site is to provide up to date news and entertainment from Jamaica and Obama.  Daily you will be able to access Jamaican news feeds in addition to links at left to many Jamaican and Obama organizations.

This site is operated by Jamaicans who feel compelled to add our contribution to history in some meaningful way.
We created this blog on January 17, 2009 to commemorate Obama’s historic Whistle Stop journey  dubbed the “Obama Express” and to contribute our bit to the “Audacity of Hope.”

We acquired our domain during the Primaries but we never expected that President Elect Obama’s train ride would be dubbed our domain OBAMA EXPRESS. It was such a honour and a pleasure and lots of work to assemble a blog in a short time but we enjoyed it we hope you do too.

If you google “obama express” you will see how important this site domain is there are 22.9 million references of Obama Express on the internet.  Obama Express can also be found on youtube.  This is a branded domain – very few domains has gotten the magnitude of exposure that this domain enjoys.  The minute  President Elect Barack Obama stepped aboard the “Obama Express” this domain was sought after by all news houses around the world.
